Holliston, MA (August 2021). In mid-2022, the historic renovation of the 12-story, Birmingham Building Trades Towers in Birmingham, AL is expected to reach completion. Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. (Griffin Electric), a leading electrical subcontractor throughout New England and the Southeast for over four decades, is currently providing installation work for the 144,000-sf apartment complex, which was originally built in 1967 and closed following a fire in 2015.
Once used as affordable housing for seniors, the Trades Towers will soon feature 242 new studio and one-bedroom apartment units following the demolition and removal of existing architectural and mechanical components.
